통일관 개관 기념 학술회의

9월 1일 오전 9시부터 서울 종로구 삼청동 통일관에서 국내외 저명 학자들과 언론계, 정계인사 및 해외 교포학자들이 대거 참석하는 가운데 통일관 개관 기념 '남남갈등 : 진단 및 해소방안' 학술회의를 개최한다.

'제1회의 남북관계와 남남갈등'·'제2회의 남남갈등의 해소방안'·'제3회의 남남갈등을 넘어서 평화통일의 길로' 등 3회의로 나누어 진행될 이번 학술회의에서는 손호철(서강대), 강원택(숭실대), 이종원(일본 릿쿄대), 임혁백(고려대) 등 국내외 석학들이 주제별 발표를, 한나라당 박형준 의원, 참여연대 김기식 사무처장 등이 토론을 한다.

아울러 종합토론 형식으로 진행되는 제3회의 라운드테이블에서는 논의 내용에 관한 주요 정당들의 입장이 개진될 예정으로 열린우리당 이부영 의장, 한나라당 원희룡 최고위원, 민주노동당 권영길 의원, 민주당 한화갑 대표 등이 토론자로 참석한다.
